The sammich was good, the pickle was good...but the price was a little high. I understand it is a fundraiser for the Temple...but eight bucks is a little steep for the guilt of going to a "church" for lunch.
All that being said (and there isn't much to add), I have to applaud Carol for this choice. I thought it was imaginative to consider the Temple's one day event and thankfully it fell on a Wednesday (the Holy Day for IDS).
SOME ADVICE: Unlike most other religious organizations, there is no need to keep your head down for fear that you will be confronted about converting when at the Temple. Drop your money and eat up...just like Jesus would want you to!
Welcome to the official blog of the International Dining Society. Originally founded in 1932 by two brothers, the IDS was resurrected in 2005 and has been going strong ever since! The goal...to find interesting lunch options on which to dine and to spread the word of said options to the masses who struggle with the day to day choices of McDonald's versus Burger King.

Sadly, I am still not LEGALLY allowed within 500 feet of a Jewish temple for another 7 months, but I heard this place was alright.
