  • I was not sure what to expect from this joint, as I had never really had Indian Food before...other than candy corn. What, wrong Indians? Anyway...We all ordered the buffet, which at $6.99 (I think) was a good deal as it included your drink.

The food was actually really good, highlighted by the deep fried vegetables & some stuff that looked like it was spewed from a demon's mouth, but tasted like heaven. That said, I recommend avoiding the "Flagrant Pudding" which I can only describe as cottage cheese doused with Eternity perfume.

The service, however, was terrible. It took nearly 20 minutes for the waiter to bring us bread, and flagging him down throughout the meal proved to be quite a challenge. Not a good thing when you're downing spicy food which requires frequent refills of your water.

ADDED BONUS: Amazingly, this food did NOT run right through Shawn!

  • Ryan and I used to ALWAYS drive by India House wanting to stop and now I can officially tell people...keep driving!

Unlike my fellow IDS members, I didn't find anything all that redeeming about this place other than the fact that I can now cross "Indian Food" off the list of cuisines I hadn't tried in a restaurant setting.

Everything was just average...the vomit stuff (Ryan referenced it as "some stuff") was tasty, but not worth the price of admission.

SOME ADVICE: Get your bread up front...we had a hard time getting our waiter to bring us any.
