I expected more from a Uzbekistani cafe, but I didn't get it. It's the Applebee's of Uzbekistani restaurants. My Chicken Kiev was decent, but nothing special.
As a rule, if you throw meat on a stick, grill it up...I'll eat it!
While MBU was nothing special...it wasn't terrible for what is essentially a mall eatery. Carol and I both had the chicken, but I wouldn't mind trying a sammich on a return visit.
SOME ADVICE: Ummm...free refills were nice. Who am I kidding...I don't have anything more to add about this joint.
Welcome to the official blog of the International Dining Society. Originally founded in 1932 by two brothers, the IDS was resurrected in 2005 and has been going strong ever since! The goal...to find interesting lunch options on which to dine and to spread the word of said options to the masses who struggle with the day to day choices of McDonald's versus Burger King.

ADDED BONUS: Most food comes served on a stick.

I wasn't aware they had food in Uzbekistan, much less a national quisine. Who knew?
